Shipping Instructions
Congratulations on your upcoming wedding and on making the choice to have your flowers, Evermore!
Help your flowers arrive in the best condition possible by following the instructions and guidelines below. It is really helpful to get the supplies ahead of time to set aside and designate someone to help with shipping your flowers out if needed.
Please remove any florals you wish to keep back for yourself or any heirloom pieces that might be in your bouquet that you do not wish to include in your preservation.
Flower Care
Day of: Come up with a plan to keep your flowers hydrated when you are not using them throughout the day and until it is time to ship or deliver.
If you are sending corsages or boutonnieres, remove them prior to the reception and place them in a container with a lid and damp paper towel at the bottom. Pop them into a refrigerator ASAP.
These first steps are SO IMPORTANT, but often overlooked in the busyness of the day.
If you plan on incorporating the tradition of a tossed bouquet into your wedding, have a smaller one made. Tossing your bouquet will bruise the delicate petals and hinder the condition of the flowers for preservation.
Next day: Give the ends a quick snip under running water and place in a vase with flower food, fresh cool water, and out of direct sunlight until you are ready to ship.
During travel for drop off: Be sure to keep flowers in water and consider putting the bouquet and vase in a box surrounded by packing paper for stability.

If you are sending boutonnieres or corsages, place these in their containers near the cold packs in the packing process.
Gently continue to tuck in tissue paper around your bouquet to fill in any negative space in the large box.
When you get to the top of the bouquet, crumple a few pieces of tissue paper and gently flatten them and lay them on the top of your bouquet to help protect against bruising.
